Thanks for the prompt malskin!
He’d received an urgent radio message to attend a robbery in progress and he happened to be a couple minutes away. Immediately he put on his blue lights and siren and sped along to the council flats where it was taking place. He pulled straight into a parking space and ran out of the car to attend as soon as he stopped the engine.
When he arrived he didn’t spot much of a crime scene. He sighed internally knowing it was probably kids calling a false alarm again. He realised now the area was typical of it.
“How ya doin Jay?” called a youth from the property in question,
“There was reports of a robbery at this address. You wouldn’t happen to know anything lad?” He replied hoping he just misheard the youth get almost his name right.
“Oh yeah mate, come in you look nakered”
Feeling slightly uneasy, but having to do the job he went into the home which was in a bit of a state. Furniture in a bitter state of disrepair and not much regard for looking after it.
There was some music playing and the lad came back with a cup of tea for the officer. A simple nicety from an English person. The conversation flown full of lies about how someone was in the house, but then it simply made the officer sleepier and sleepier as he drank all of the tea.
He awoke a few hours later, but feeling he felt slightly disorientated and dizzy. He wasn’t wearing what he thought were his clothes, but instead appeared to be wearing his trackies. His trackies? Why would he own such a thing,
“Jay mate, you look so fuckin out of it. You feelin alright? I think you should stay ere tonight mate, you’re not driving like that”
“Mate, I’ll be fine I think”
He was confused by his language. It was right, he didn’t sound right. But it felt right being here. His mate Woods offered him a can of lager to get himself feeling right again. The next morning they got up and started on a walk towards Wood’s dealer, Jason would need to make money somehow.
On the way there Woods made him lie on the cop car, and of course Jason did thinking it was funny. Little did he know it would be a trophy for Woods and the cop car was to be toed away later that afternoon. Also it should also come as a lesson that parking for residents only, is for residents only.
