The future’s orange. Hopefully.

He was looking for a new job and was on his way to an interview when he passed one of the construction sites. He secretly wished he was one of the crew, in hi-viz. But he was to work in an office surely.

That was until the van turned up. The foreman had noticed him taking an interest, and realised how much he wanted to be like them. He was snatched, quickly into the back of the van and into his first hi-viz jacket.

Of course it was second hand. He needed to smell like them and wear off the office mannerisms as soon as possible. They were also designed to keep his mind permanently foggy, just like the rest of the crew.

His life was now to be a dirty hi-viz workie working on construction sites. Muscular, dirty and dumb.
